Olá mundo! - Hello world!

Esta é a primeira vez que decidi ter um espaço virtual, e o motivo pelo qual decidi fazê-lo é principalmente para ter uma forma de compartilhar com amigos e familiares minhas experiências como UNV no Haiti. 
Além disso espero poder ajudar a outra pessoas, que estão passando por o que passei, a refletirem sobre suas vidas e a decidir realizar seus sonhos, o que quer que sejam. 


Você deve estar se perguntando por que o blog tem este nome estranho, e ele é um nome estranho mesmo. Porém é um nome que tem um forte significado pessoal. Se traduzirmos literalmente ele significa "cabras paraquedistas", porém para mim ele significa algo mais, significa "atirar pela janela seus medos para se tornar livre para realizar seus sonhos".

A estória do nome é um pouco longa e quero escrever mais a respeito num post futuro, mas ela basicamente vem de um sonho que alguém me contou na minha viagem para Pipa (RN) em abril de 2013. Além de me contar seu sonho com as cabras saltando de paraquedas esta pessoa também fez parte de um momento de reflexão muito intensa naqueles poucos dias de férias. Passamos horas falando dos nossos sonhos, do sentido da vida, de nosso desejo por mudança e acabei associando a ideia das cabras saltando de paraquedas com a idéia de arriscar a vida segura que construí ao longo de anos aqui em Curitiba para alcançar aquilo que meu coração pedia. 

Sonhos? 
Tenho muitos, mas no momento os dois mais importantes são ter um trabalho que ajude a melhorar o mundo e fazer uma viagem de volta ao mundo. O objetivo deste blog é falar mais do primeiro, mas espero que no futuro possa falar também do segundo.

This is the first time I decided to have a blog, and the reason I decided to do it is mainly to have a way to share with family and friends my experiences as a UNV (UN volunteer) in Haiti.
Also I hope to be able to help other people, who are going through what I went through, to reflect on their lives and decide to realize their dreams, whatever they may be.

You must be wondering why the blog has this awkward name, and it realy is an awkward name. But it is a name that has a strong personal meaning. For me it means "throw out the window your fears to become free to achieve your own dreams."

The story of the name is a bit long and I want to write more about in a future post, but it basically comes from a dream that someone told me on my trip to Pipa (RN) in April 2013. Besides telling me his dream with many parachuting goats this person was also part of a very intense moment of reflection for those few days of vacation. We spent hours talking about our dreams, the meaning of life and our desire for change and I ended up associating the idea of the parachuting goats with the idea of risking life holds that I built up over the years here in Curitiba to achieve what my heart asked me for.

Dreams ?
I have many, but at the moment the two most important are to have a job that helps to improve the world and make a trip around the world. The purpose of this blog is to talk over the first, but hopefully in the future can also speak of the second.
